About Gillian
Gillian is a professional Nail Artist and trainer to aspiring nail techs. She has been in the nail industry for over 10 years, with 8 of those dedicated to training others – and she still loves every moment of it!
After recently moving back to East Lothian, Gillian is excited to grow her nail business and academy here in Scotland. From September 1st, she will be working within Naked Revive in Haddington, offering nail services and professional training courses.
Her training academy is also still running in Essex, where she continues to support and teach students who are beginning or developing their nail careers with the help of fellow tutor, Rosa.
She first became a nail technician because of the creativity (which you can see throughout her work), the people, and the flexible hours that suited family life. A sociable and passionate person, Gillian loves meeting new people, training the next generation of nail technicians, and creating beautiful nails in the process.
Her passion for nails and teaching is what sets her apart from other educators. She holds various nail qualifications as well as a Level 4 NVQ in Training & Education, which allows her to deliver well-structured, engaging, and supportive classes for her students.
The reason she decided to take up teaching goes back to her own college tutor (thanks, Charlotte!) who recognised her talent and encouraged her to gain her teaching qualification in 2017.
Since then, Gillian hasn’t looked back – enjoying teaching just as much as creating stunning nail designs.
She looks forward to expanding her classes both in East Lothian and Essex, with 1-to-1s, groups, online and in-person training, inspiring the next wave of nail professionals.
