Designed specifically for established nail technicians, this one-day course focuses on the acrylic-specific theory and practical techniques you need to add acrylic enhancements to your existing services. Whether you currently specialise in BIAB, builder gel, hard gel or gel polish, you'll build on your existing knowledge without paying for a full beginners’ course, whilst enjoying the same help and aftercare as the beginners.

Course Investment: £399

  • Remaining balance of £349 due 7 days before your course.

  • Add the Electric File course for just £100 if you need e-file training, saving £150 compared with the standalone £250 course.

Course duration: One day, 10am–2pm.

Locations: Choose from Rayleigh, Wickford or Chelmsford, Essex.

Class size: 1:1 training as standard, with a 2:1 option available upon request.

  • Acrylic liquid and powder system theory.

  • Differences between acrylic, BIAB, builder gel and hard gel.

  • Acrylic application, bead control and correct apex building.

  • Nail structure, shaping and safe filing.

  • Infill, maintenance and removal techniques.

  • Product knowledge, troubleshooting and common application problems.

  • Client consultation, hygiene, health and safety, PPE and COSHH awareness.

  • Client suitability, potential allergies, contraindications and aftercare.

How to Qualify

Submit 6 acrylic case studies within 6 months, each including before and after photographs plus a side-view photograph to demonstrate apex structure.

Gillian will provide individual feedback via Instagram DM. Once all case studies have been approved and the course requirements have been met, you'll receive your ABT-accredited diploma.

What Will I Need?

No kit is required on the training day. You'll need a full acrylic kit to complete your case studies afterwards.
